Future weapon

Being a cop has never been more attractive, despite the current perks of donut and coffee discounts around the precinct. Popular Science have outdone themselves by thinking up a list of essential tools that all cops should arm themselves with in order to maintain law and order throughout the country effectively. The machine gun featured above stands out from the entire bunch, boasting the ability to shoot up to 700 rounds of pepper-spray pellets in a single minute, creating eye-stinging clouds up to 200 feet away almost instantly. This is definitely more fun than a water cannon when it comes to crowd control, and you get to make people cry literally.

  1. Now that is pretty cool. Imagine that in a crowd or with a person held up in a house. No one gets hurt from it. Which means criminals, can't sue the police department for police brutality (even though they attacked the officer, and the officer was defending themself). What will they come up with next.

  2. Another great idea to the men and women that protect us everyday. 700 rounds of pepper-spray pellets in a single minute, that's a lot of pepper-spray. I say kudos to any piece of technology to help make the streets safer.

  3. This is better than bullets. This way, if someone took a hostage, they could fire freely. An altered version of this would be good for civilian use. Unlike bullets that can kill, these can defend without killing. The question is if it takes a head shot. If it did, targets would be a lot smaller.

  4. A paintball gun that shoots pepper pellets has been around for a little bit, and I don't really agree that it's the future of weaponry. While I do agree that it's a safer alternative to many of the other weapons we have now, it's not as advance as it could be with the tech we have today and will have tomorrow.

  6. ok so by this point it's not hard to figure where i stand on gun control! if they could guarrentee the bad guys couldn't get it i'd be all for it, but then if they could keep guns out of the bad guys hands law enforcement wouldn't need these would they?

  7. I dont approve of this gun unless complete chaos broke out. I am a renegade and complete liberal. My entire family have been revolutionaries in their times, fighting for equality and rights. I think this would violate rights because it can not control the pain that it causes to plublic groups of people. I think it should not be used althought it will help save accidental deaths due to disabling and gaining control over a situation.
