These modern tools make the job of accountants easier and more reliable. Digital worksheets such as Excel simplify journal keeping. They also allow easy transfers. In the worksheets, formulas can be set up, so there are fewer mistakes. There may be a point in which accounting software becomes so prevalent that regular accountants will no longer be needed. Life for accountants is much better than the old days.
ReplyDeleteThank god for these tools. I took a few accounting classes, and we were required to do everything with pencil and paper. After dealing with that, I was completely turned off on how repetitive accounting was. Maybe with the use of such tools, it would be a little more enjoyable.
