Present Police Baton

A great self-defense weapon! Police and security guards around the world use these high quality solid steel batons. They expand to 16", 21" or 26" with just a flick of the wrist. They are effective at stopping attackers in many dangerous situations. Since criminals understand how an expandable baton works and the power they can hold, they usually back down when one is shown.

  1. This is a better means of subduing a criminal if possible. A taser gun only provides one shot and a gun can kill someone. They also will not break easily. However, its use is limited as it can only be used short-range. Tossing it at someone is not likely to work. A number of criminals carry guns and are not afraid to use them when the cops come.

  2. This a highly effective weapon when used correctly. I have accidental gotten hit by one of the new and improved batons and they work. Although criminals have guns and other sorts of weapons any cop will tell you that these batons are well worth it.

  3. The baton is a great invention and is key for close combat for any police or security guard. Chris you made me laugh when you said you accidental got hit by one. I have never gotten hit by one and I never hope to with technology comes faster and lighter and more hurtful weapons for keeping people in control.

  4. If a cop pulled one of these out on me I would totally back down...I dont wana be hit with one of these, especially by a pissed off cop! That would hurt! Although really hardcore criminals might just have a gun and not be scared when the cop pulls the baton out, I would be scared!

  5. These things are scary. They are a better answer to taserguns and guns i think but only in the right circumstances.

  6. I've held one of these before... They're a lot heavier than they look. And although I've never felt one hit me (haha), I'm sure they'd do some serious damage.

  7. This thing looks lethal. I would never like to experience getting beat by that. I actually never see the police force use this unless their at a riot or something.

  8. i don't see the point of police even carring a baton any more. there more of a prop than anything else any more. criminals use guns , police use guns so why bother with this. now securuity guards well they do need something.

  9. I actually had one of these!

I purchased it at AWMA in the Northeast.

It’s saved my butt a few times when I lived in Kensington/Port Richmond for all about five seconds. The nice thing about it is that it doesn’t break the skin, is portable, and has enough impact to stun a person. As with any other self-defense weapon, though. It should only be used as a last resort.

  10. I definitely would not want to be on the business end of one of those things! Anyone way policemen can protect themselves from violent encounters is definitely a step in the right direction, since they are protecting our society.

  11. Ahh what a great invention. I cannot imagine getting hit with one of these things. With the society taking a dump now and days, more things like this are needed to subdue the idiot criminals!

  13. Definitely a good tool for close combat but as someone mentioned earlier nowadays criminals have guns that are long range so flicking a button at one will not scare the criminal. Plus now you really have to watch when and where you flick one out because there could be all sort of assault charges on you.

  14. Ouch. This is just a baseball bat that is purposly designed for beating people. Definatly a good way to control a crowd. If someone was about to beat me with one of these i would definatly comply.

  15. given certain situations, these suffice. With the amount of cops getting shot in the city of philadelphia, i still think that the gun is necessary and should be employed more often to help save officer's lives. Sometimes the fear that is felt when a gun is drawn can help stop a situation from ever occuring.
